PSP-8 prompter
While broadcast studios have long used teleprompters, smaller productions or those going on location may think such gear is too expensive or complicated for their needs. QTV, working with partner Autocue, addresses that with its new Professional Series line of prompters, debuting at NAB. With an 8in. diameter, the initial model PSP-8 prompter is lightweight enough that anyone shooting with DV camcorders can easily take one along. The PSP-8 includes a mounting plate that fits most fluid-head tripods.
