Big is in, too. Besides Panasonic, which has been announcing sales of its 103in. behemoth PDP, NEC recently announced its own best effort. In this case, it did so with an 82in. HD LCD, the MultiSync LCD8205. With its thin bezel, it's suitable for tiling together for a videowall up to four displays high and four displays wide. The unit offers 600cd/m² brightness, which is enough for easy viewing even in bright rooms; a high 5000:1 contrast; and XtraView+, which delivers a 178-degree viewing angle for improved off-axis viewing.
