BT-LH1760
Panasonic says it had a real hit with its BT-LH1700W 17in. multiformat color production monitor, released at NAB 2007. Location production companies welcomed the unit's ruggedness and features such as splitscreen freeze and built-in waveform monitor. Panasonic will follow that up at NAB 2008 with the debut of the BT-LH1760. It's another 17in. production monitor, but this one has even more advanced features, such as a 120Hz refresh rate (ideal for sports and other fast-moving subjects) and In-Plane Switching (IPS) — which is said to offer greatly improved off-axis viewing. Other features include a built-in waveform monitor and vectorscope, pixel-to-pixel matching (no image resizing), and an array of I/O options.
