InfoChannel 5
Each new iteration of a digital-signage product is expected to do more, and release 3 of Scala's InfoChannel 5 is no exception. Scala builds on experience; it remains one of the pioneering companies still in business — since 1987 in this case. This latest version provides faster video playback including 60fps video, as well as HD video when paired with suitable hardware. It also supports playback of H.264 video files, and it adds a Broadcast Server module (which allows distribution of content via a multicast or package-delivery network).
