Reflector Appliance

Moving live video over wide area networks (WAN) for editing or further redistribution (or reflection, in industry parlance) can get complicated, but VBrick Systems addresses that with its new Reflector Appliance. The device broadcasts a single, low-bandwidth video stream across a WAN link in Windows Media format. Instead of requiring a server capable of multistream delivery, the reflector works on an internal network with only the bandwidth required for single stream. An optional hard drive can be used to store and time-shift video content playback.
