Tandberg Management Suite
In the move toward wider acceptance of videoconferencing and mobile video, playing well with others is an increasing refrain. Tandberg pointed this up with its recent announcement in favor of multivendor support for Codian and Sony products. By moving to products such as the Tandberg Management Suite (TMS), it’s easier for system managers to handle infrastructure devices such as Multipoint Control Units, gateways, and gatekeepers from multiple vendors. The single management interface and platform of TMS manages endpoints and devices from different manufacturers, lessening the need of support staff and thus lowering the total cost of ownership for video networks.
