Building on Electrosonic's popular MS9500, the MS9500GL HD FrEND networked high-definition MPEG player is ideal for show replay, signage, and other mission-critical playback applications. New capabilities include genlock, timecode, and GPIO for true synchronized multichannel HD replay. The player supports numerous output resolutions, including 1920x1080i, 1280x720p, and 720x576/480p, and it's capable of clean switching between SD and HD content. A built-in time-of-day scheduler gives users a simple way to control content replay, enabling various day-parting scenarios to be programmed. The player also features full support for the Electrosonic iMediate software suite so that multiple MS9500GL units can be grouped or scheduled individually.
