Taking higher-capability visualization abilities with you is becoming easier with the latest generation of computer technology. NextComputing, a developer of rugged, portable computers, gives one example with its multidisplay option for the Vigor Evo HD computer. One or two additional displays attach to either side of the unit's integrated monitor. When it's time to move, they fold in neatly to protect the screens while easing portability.
You might fit the Vigor Evo HD with an integrated 17in. high-res display of up to 1920‗1200 pixels. Other features include a choice of high-performing PCI Express graphics cards; top-of-the-line quad-core processors from both Intel and AMD; up to 16GB RAM; up to 3TB storage capacity; multiple I/O options, including up to four full-length PCI Express slots; and 32/64-bit multi-OS support.
