Color correct with speed
Pandora is on a tear, introducing a number of new technologies aimed at keeping its proprietary hardware-based color correction products competitive with the growing number of hardware-independent systems.
Its PiXi Revolution creative color correction suite, for example, gains a multichannel optical transceiver card, capable of processing and displaying 2K, 4K, and higher-res images in realtime. There's also an optical I/O option for connecting to iQ or Clipster, which enables 2K realtime interactivity, according to the company.
Need a big screen for playback? The new dual-channel DVI-D interface now drives a 2K projector. Meanwhile, DVI and HDTV outputs can operate concurrently in different color spaces, saving setup time. Need to save space? The T3 Control Surface packages Evolution in a single panel, designed for compact environments. pogle.pandora-int.com
