3D compositing

Compositing programs continue to gain in capability. Eyeon's Fusion 5, which released at Siggraph, now includes 3D compositions with lights, cameras, and primitives, as well as software-based waveform, vectorscope, and 3D histogram monitors. Direct support of Maya, LightWave, Max, and Softimage|XSI enables finishing of 3D scenes in Fusion. Fusion can now import FBX scene files; this 3D interchange format allows the same 3D parameters of cameras and scenes to exist inside Fusion. Moving Fusion's bins to the network allows other Fusion artists to view and update each other's bins. www.eyeonline.com
