At NAB Show 2009, EditShare pushed out the second iteration of its Complete Collaboration product line (media acquisition, sharing, storage, and archiving products), which first debuted at last year’s show. Touted as the only comprehensive system that offers both Apple and Avid project sharing for editors, new product versions included EditShare Flow version 1.2 (with expanded codec support for EditShare’s Universal Media File technology), EditShare Storage, and Version 5.5 of XStream, with new data-protection and media-management features including tighter integration with third-party playout servers.

New at the show: EditShare Ark, a multipurpose archiving and backup solution that supports the “entire media lifecycle,” according to the company, via integration with Flow and EditShare shared-storage gear.
