If you're an Adobe After Effects (AE) user, an app such as GridIron Software's Nucleo Pro is a near miracle because it saves you from time-wasting rendering queues by parceling out the chore to any network-attached computer. Now in version 2, the software becomes more useful by supporting 3D rendering apps in both its Pre-Composition Proxy and Background Render Queue. More time savings are apparent in how proxied compositions are handled; Nucleo Pro 2 re-renders only the modified frames in the background, then updates the composition's proxy automatically. Other useful new features include Spec-Render (allows you to build a comp and render it at the same time) and Commit To Disk (automatically replaces layers with rendered versions to optimize previews).
