Knoll Light Factory 3.0 for Adobe Photoshop
The power of light is the essence, of course, of film and video, which is why visual designers will want to check out the recently released Knoll Light Factory version 3.0 plug-in for Adobe Photoshop. The app originated with Oscar-winning Industrial Light & Magic vet John Knoll, co-creator of Photoshop. The plug-in helps create lens flares and other lighting effects, such as lasers, explosions, and stars. New features include a redesigned user interface, realtime preview, grayscale mask (to partially obscure lights), more than 100 light presets, and 16-bit color support.
