HD HQV Benchmark

For the best quality playback, it's important to correctly set up HD monitors and projectors. Using signals from high-end test gear is the best way to go, but if you don't have access to that, HD versions of the popular Silicon Optix HQV Benchmark discs could do the trick. Available in both Blu-ray and HD DVD versions, the HD HQV Benchmark includes tests for noise, video-resolution loss, aliasing, and film-resolution loss. Because the content is recorded in 1080i video, the discs can be used to determine if a player or display properly de-interlaces 1080i sources.
