Topaz Labs' Enhance offers 10 filters for tasks such as upconversion from SD to HD, de-interlacing, edge enhancement, noise filtering, removal of color bleeding, and artifact reduction. With version 2.2, the Windows-only plug-in for Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro and Digital Fusion gets its second update of the year. Version 2.1 tripled the SD-to-HD upconversion speed, according to Topaz Labs, and de-interlacing became 5X faster. V2.2 adds a new filter, “Enlarge*,” which combines tasks to simplify the upconversion workflow. It's also multi-threaded to speed up the rendering of some filters.
