If you don’t know about it, you’ll want to check out EDLMax24 from Brooks Harris Film & Tape. The app offers edit decision list (EDL) management for format translation, editing and manipulation, cleaning, optimization, and frame-rate conversion between 30fps, 25fps, and 24fps. Now the company has added the BullsEye media converter, a video and audio media converter for importing a variety of Windows Media formats to Avid NLE systems. The software can read Windows Media files such as WMV, ASF, ASX, and AVI, outputting Avid-compatible OMF media files that can be directly recorded to an Avid OMFI MediaFiles folder. The clips can then be accessed from the Avid Media Tool.
