Long a supplier to the pro broadcast and EFP markets, Vinten has built a reputation for its well-made tripods that can take rough handling. The same build is evident in its Pro-6DC, a lightweight camera support system designed for MiniDV-size cameras. The Pro-6DC system includes a pan and tilt head, a Pozi-Loc two-stage aluminum tripod with adjustable leg locks, a floor spreader, and a soft case. The head provides 360 degrees of pan and +90 degrees to -60 degrees of tilt with continuously variable fluid drag. An illuminated level bubble helps when setting up in low-light scenes.
