Virtual reality jib
While shifting an inch or two on a tripod doesn't usually cause a problem, that's not the case when working with virtual studio systems; moving just a fraction of an inch can throw off the illusion. Shotoku says its TK-59VR virtual reality jib can solve that problem with its new-generation high-resolution encoders, which precisely locate each movement. Instead of using a dolly, studios gain wider camera coverage with a cost-efficient jib arm. According to the company, the jib is easy to dismantle and transport, while keeping its accuracy.
