Sony's HVR-Z7U and HVR-S270OU camcorders received kudos when they started delivering earlier this year, with features such as a trio of newly designed 1/3in., 3-megapixel ClearVid CMOS sensors and the functionality of direct recording to CompactFlash solid-state memory attracting attention. But although the cameras feature interchangeable lenses, sometimes you just need to go a tad wider or have a bit more zoom to get a shot. Schneider Optics solves that with its accessory add-on lenses for the HVR-Z7U — including the .6X HD Wide Angle Adapter; Fisheye HD Adapter MKII; .3X HD Ultra Fisheye Adapter; and 1.6X HD Tele-converter.
