AJ-SDC615 DVCPRO
With the constant churn of new technology coming to market, it can pay to wait a bit to buy. Last year, Panasonic debuted its AJ-SDC615 DVCPRO camcorder, which employed a new 12-bit A/D digital signal-processing (DSP) chip, three 16:9 2/3in. high-sensitivity CCDs, a built-in IEEE 1394 interface, a 12-axis matrix color correction system, and improved color reproduction and luminance gradation. Now, even with a tab that's $5000 less, the company tosses in a copy of Magic Bullet Suite software to create 24p motion effects.
