New from London-based PAG, the V4-iPC battery charger fits four Li-Ion V-Mount batteries from either Sony or PAG. The charger features PAG's Intelligent Parallel Charging, a three-step process. First, Pre-Charge prepares deeply discharged batteries to accept a charge. Next, Testing determines a battery's type and charge level to determine the maximum charge that can be applied. Finally, in the Charging phase, the V4-iPC shares the current “intelligently” among the channels so four batteries reach usable capacity in the most efficient way. The AC-powered charger has a backlit LCD screen that displays a continually updated report of battery voltage and indicates which batteries are receiving charge.
