As affordable as HD camcorders have become lately, many professional shooters' lenses are now more expensive than the imaging system behind them. To keep that valuable glass spotless while protecting it, Origin Labs has developed Purosol Optical. According to the company, the cleaner works on the molecular level to break the bonds that dust and dirt use to grip the lens surface — and thereby helps keep lenses clean longer. Completely organic, Purosol contains no solvents (such as alcohol, chlorine, or ammonia) that are often found in traditional cleaners. Without these, Purosol aims to avoid harming lens coatings.
