Manfrotto joins this increasingly crowded market with ModoSteady, which combines the benefits of a camcorder stabilizer, shoulder pod, and tabletop tripod at a pretty reasonable price point. The device allows you to float the camcorder à la Steadicam (sort of, anyway)—or, with a little adjusting, it turns into a shoulder brace or a tabletop tripod.
