Editcam HD
When Avid introduced its open source DN×HD mastering codec at NAB 2004, the company hoped others would adopt this lossless HD technology. Ikegami Electronics did, and you can see the results at NAB 2006: the shipping version of the DN×HD-enabled Editcam HD camcorder. The codec allows capture, storage, and playback of full-raster HD (1920×1080), which includes 1080/60i, 1080/24p, and 720/60p recording. A new 120GB FieldPak2 provides more than one hour of HD recording time.
