Sony's new pro HVR-Z1U and consumer HDR-FX1 HDV camcorders take small-format production to a new level; more shooting options are essential to reap the full benefits. One accessory deserves a look: Century Optics' new .7X HD Wide Angle Converter. Specifically designed for Sony's HDV camcorders, the lens uses the latest in multi-coated glass elements to keep distortion low and minimize any chromatic aberration, says the company.
