Coco-DVL
Unlike the multiple battery solutions available for long-running camcorder lines from Sony, Panasonic, Ikegami, and others, power choices for the new generation of camcorders are still nascent. 16×9's Coco-DVL power converter, which debuts at NAB, is one new solution. The compact unit draws voltage from Sony NPF970 series batteries, allowing it to operate the camera as well as 12V accessories such as a light, onboard LCD monitor, or audio receiver.
