Chrosziel HDV Mattebox Kit and Sunshade System
Another hot camcorder of the moment, Canon's XL H1 HDV, gets the accessory treatment from Alfred Chrosziel via 16×9's HDV Mattebox Kit for 4×4/4×5.650 filters and the 4×4 Clamp-On Sunshade System.
Chrosziel describes the mattebox housing as a true 16:9 setup — and not just a larger size mounting with a smaller fitting. Features include a filter stage for two filter holders (one 4×4 rotating and one 4×4/4×5.650 fixed), full-size French flag, 16:9 insert mask, and 110:72mm screw-in adapter ring.
