P+S Technik mounts lenses for Red
As the Red Digital Cinema Red One camera continues to gain in popularity, other manufacturers are joining in, with everything from Red-themed lenses (Cooke) to Red-themed workstations (Boxx). Leave it to Munich-based P+S Technik to deliver a Swiss-Army-knife solution for mounting still and cine lenses. Its Interchangeable Mount System (IMS, $2,325) requires replacing Red's front end, a relatively simple process due to the camera's modular body. The modification allows the following lens mounts to fit Red: Arriflex PL, Panavision, BNC-R, Professional F, Nikon F, Canon EF, Canon FD, Contax, Leica, and Leica-M. www.pstechnik.de
