Ipela IP-based camera system

Now's the time to start using the Internet for HD production, Sony suggests, with the NAB 2006 debut of its PCS-HG90 codec and the optional PCSA-CHG90 pan-tilt-zoom camera. The combo can transfer HD-resolution video and stereo audio over an IP network, making it useful for live situations such as news reports or fixed camera applications such as surveillance, weather, or traffic reports. You can also use the setup, of course, to share live or taped content between location sets and production studios.
