Held at the Hilton Pavilion (adjacent to the Las Vegas Convention Center), the fourth annual, two-day Projection Summit will no doubt provide one of the week's high points when consultant Chuck McLaughlin leads the "Analysts' Debate," pushing a panel of experts on the projection market and supply chain to answer the hard questions. Last year, the assembled market researchers, manufacturers, pro AV channel companies, integrators, and component suppliers debated in illuminating ways on subjects as varied as … illumination supply for one thing. "One of the key take-aways for me was the fact that limited knowledge of the projection supply is affecting forecasts and the ability of suppliers to invest in new capacity," McLaughlin says of the 2004 session.
